Every illustration is generated from the specific details in your voice notes — the restaurant you mentioned, the song that was playing, the way you described the light. Two couples recording the same night would get two entirely different images. The more specific your notes, the more personal and vivid the result.
No — Nocturne works beautifully with just one voice. You can record on your own every night, and each memory will be illustrated from your perspective. If your partner wants to add their voice on any given night, they can — and when both voices are combined, the illustration becomes richer and more layered. But there's no obligation, and nothing is ever lost if only one of you records.
Nocturne sends a gentle evening reminder to your phone. The recording is one minute — genuinely no more than a moment of your day. Most couples find it becomes something they look forward to rather than a task. And if you miss a night? Nothing is lost. You simply pick up again the next evening.
